Mary is certified in Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage and has received training in Reiki, basic myofascial techniques and Thai on the table. Mary first experienced the healing effects of massage as a graduate student, when she worked with a massage therapist on a regular basis to help alleviate the physical effects of stress and long hours spent studying and working at a computer.

Mary is a graduate of Potomac Massage Training Institute in Washington, DC. She remains part of the PMTI community as not only a practical instructor teaching deep tissue massage, but also as part of a team of PMTI therapists who provide massage therapy to soldiers and their families at the Fisher House of Walter Reed Medical Center. She enjoys working with a wide variety of clients and providing massage therapy as a method for stress relief, relaxation and self-healing.

Merle Davison LMT, AMTA, NCTMB

Merle Davison is a nationally certified massage therapist specializing in neck, shoulders and back. Merle's technique is a unified integration of Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, myofascial release, reflexology, Thai yoga table massage and sports massage. Nicole is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. She is a graduate from Potomac Massage Training Institute and Washington, DC's Howard University.

Nicole specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue and Hot Stone Massage. Nicole enjoys being receptive to the specific needs of each client and custom designing their sessions to meet their needs. Audrey A. McMorrow, LMT, AMTA, NCTMB

Audrey is a graduate of the Potomac Massage Training Institute in Washington, DC and a Licensed Massage Therapists in the District of Columbia. She is also a Level 1 Reiki Practitioner and has completed several level of training with Healing Touch International. Audrey continues to study energy based healing techniques and modalities.

Audrey strives to expand each of her client's awareness of his or her energetic aspect and works in partnership with them to connect with their own innate ability to heal. She seeks to inspire others to create and cultivate that which brings joy into their life. Through study and experience, Audrey has found that often, simple shifts in our behaviors and thoughts will affect enormous change in our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well being.

Beth Mennonna is a graduate of Potomac Massage Training Institute. As well as Swedish and deep tissue massage, Beth is also trained and practices hot stone massage and Reiki. Beth looks forward to furthering her continuing education studies in pre natal and post natal massage.

Lauren is a 2005 graduate of Potomac Massage Training Institute. She is Nationally Certified, licensed in DC and Virginia and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. She plays several pivotal roles at Well Being as a massage therapist, Administrative Manager and on-site Spa Party massage therapist. Lauren specializes in Swedish and deep tissue massage, is certified in prenatal and postnatal massage, Thai Massage on the table and is a level 2 Reiki practitioner. This year she will continue her education with Hot Stone massage, Thai Herbal massage and Herbal Soap making.

Lauren's background includes a career in Psychiatric Music Therapy, through which she developed a profound understanding of our basic need as humans for compassion, support and nurturing. Her intention as a massage therapist is to facilitate awareness and balance within the body-mind. She accomplishes this by creating a unique blend of clinical therapeutic work with gentle, subtle techniques that promote deep relaxation. Elaine is NCTMB Certified, a member of AMTA and holds a Washington D.C. License for Massage Therapy. She graduated from Heritage Institute of Massage Therapy in Falls Church, Virginia in 2005. Elaine is dedicated to massage therapy and her clients to provide the best quality of therapy and service. Specializing in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Therapeutic and Sports Massage, Elaine listens carefully to each of her clients needs and develops a tailored treatment specifically for them. “There is no greater feeling to me when a client tells me how much better I have made them feel”. Elaine strives to make each client's therapeutic experience memorable and increases their awareness of the benefits that massage therapy has to offer.

Elaine currently is continuing her education and furthering her knowledge in the field of Massage Therapy. She also has a hobby of making all natural handmade soaps, and aspires to have her own natural body care line and day spa in the future.

Brenda Rayner, LMT, AMTA, NCTMB

Brenda is a 2002 graduate of Potomac Massage Training Institute. She began her massage practice after graduation in the PMTI Professional Clinic. At the same time she began teaching at PMTI as a Graduate Intern. She has remained on the faculty as an Instructor in both academic and deep tissue practical courses. Brenda is trained in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports and Orthopedic Massage. In addition, Brenda is also Certified in Pregnancy Massage and is an Instructor of Infant Massage.

Brenda feels each client utilizes massage therapy for different purposes as part of their own wellness program. Whether for general relaxation or to address a specific issue, her goal is to work with the client to design each session to meet their needs most effectively and provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Cynthia Shobutte LMT, AMTA, NCTMB

Cynthia is the director of Well Being Massage & Spa and a Licensed Massage Therapist. With an entrepreneurial spirit, she has a passion for providing Washington, DC with professional, high quality, therapeutic massage and spa services.

Previously owning a small spa products business, she takes pride in offering holistic massage and spa treatments incorporating natural and organic products that help to bring the body into balance. She is inspired by ancient healing techniques, nature and the mind-body-spirit benefits of massage and spa therapies.

Cynthia is a graduate and has served on the teaching faculty of the Potomac Massage Training Institute. In addition to Swedish and deep tissue training, she is certified in pre and post natal massage, Reiki, therapeutic spa techniques, Ayurvedic body treatments, basic myofascial techniques and hot stone massage. Cynthia is also a certified yoga instructor and completed her training at the Sivananda Yoga Ashram in February, 2003.
